Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 10 June 2026
These terms and conditions apply when you use our website, request a quote, or engage Fencing Company Wolverhampton - Installations and Repairs Contractor for fencing installation, repairs, gate fitting or related boundary work.
By submitting an enquiry or accepting a written quote, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, contact us before work is booked.
1. About us
We are a UK fencing contractor based at 24 Birch St, Wolverhampton WV1 4HY. We provide garden fencing, closeboard and feather edge timber work, composite panels, wooden gates, and commercial or security perimeter fencing across Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
2. Website use
Website content is for general information about our fencing services. It does not constitute a binding offer. We aim to keep information accurate but do not guarantee that all content is complete or current at all times.
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, or copy content for commercial reuse without permission.
3. Quotes and forming a contract
- Quote requests via phone, email or our online form are free and without obligation.
- A contract is formed when you accept a written quote from us and we confirm scheduling (or when work begins, if agreed in writing).
- Quotes are based on information supplied by you — postcode, access, approximate lengths, ground conditions and existing boundary state. If site conditions differ materially, we may revise the quote before work proceeds.
- Quotes typically state materials, line length, post specification, removal of old fencing (if included), estimated duration and price. Scope does not change without agreement.
4. Pricing and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.
- Payment terms are set out on your written quote and must be agreed before work starts.
- We may request a deposit for material-heavy installations; any deposit terms will be stated in writing.
- Quoted prices assume normal access and working hours unless the quote states otherwise.
5. Scheduling, access and customer responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, including side passages and rear gardens.
- Please inform us of buried services, shared boundaries, tree roots or other obstructions before work begins.
- You are responsible for checking planning rules and boundary ownership. We can note typical height guidance (such as 2 m rear / 1 m front) in quotes, but compliance with planning and property law remains your responsibility unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
- If weather or ground conditions make work unsafe or would compromise footing quality, we may reschedule.
6. Materials and workmanship
- We install fencing using materials specified in your quote — for example pressure-treated timber, concrete posts, gravel boards, composite systems or metal security fencing as agreed.
- Natural timber may move, check or weather over time. This is not necessarily a defect.
- Manufacturer warranties on composite or metal systems pass through to you where applicable.
7. Changes, delays and cancellation
- If you request changes after accepting a quote, we will provide a revised written price where needed.
- If you cancel after materials have been ordered or work prepared, reasonable costs already incurred may be charged as stated in your quote.
- We may postpone work due to severe weather, safety concerns or events outside our reasonable control. We will communicate revised dates promptly.
8. Liability
We carry appropriate insurance for our trade work. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Subject to the above, our liability for loss or damage arising from a contract is limited to the value of that contract, except where a higher limit is required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit) except where such loss cannot be excluded by law.
9. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our work, contact us promptly at 01902 595237 or info@fencingcompanywolverhampton.co.uk so we can inspect and discuss remedial options in line with your quote and applicable consumer rights.
10. Reviews and publicity
We do not reproduce customer reviews on this website. Feedback may be left on our Google Business Profile in line with Google's policies. We do not publish customer names or project details for marketing without consent.
11. Third-party services
Our website uses embedded services including a Tally quote form and Google Maps. Their use is also subject to their own terms. See our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to your statutory rights if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK.
